About this unit
This online Approaches to English Literature unit is a great way for students to gain the academic skills needed to engage with English literacy units and further their understanding of the arts discipline.
Offered by Open Universities Australia in partnership with Macquarie University, the unit is designed to help students develop their analytical skills at a university level.
Throughout this 13 week unit, students will critically examine short literary texts of different genres and narrative forms. Through readings and critical examination of the texts, students will explore concepts such as genre, characterisation and narrative voice, as well as themes such as gender, identity and memory.
