About this unit
Good websites are more in tune with their users than ever before, guiding them throughout their experience towards what they want to see. Whether you’re working on a retail outlet, a content-driven site or a user-focused network, your interface design will benefit from the techniques and technologies covered in this Internet Dynamic Environment Design unit.
It will teach you to analyse key features of websites and provide you with an understanding of information architecture. You will work with commonly used content management systems to populate them with content and learn about the advantages of dynamic environment design.
Once you have worked with existing CMS products, you will start to build custom interfaces to enhance your website’s interactivity. Examples of interactive websites projects may include blogs, social networks, image galleries and e-commerce features.
Delivered online by Open Universities Australia in partnership with Curtin University, this unit is relevant to a number of technology, arts and business degrees at RMIT, Curtin University and Swinburne University.
