About this unit
Develop your nose for news with this 13-week online unit on News and Information Gathering. Provided by Open Universities Australia and Griffith University, the unit covers all the major aspects of journalism, from media conferences and writing skills to dealing with ethical issues and the law.
You will develop a systematic approach to information gathering and have the opportunity to learn about the various reporting rounds, including crime, politics, sport, economics and social issues. You will be encouraged to pursue your interests and develop your own unique style.
