About this unit
The Course in Plumbing – Gas (CPC40912) forms part of The Gordon’s Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services (CPC40912), and is designed to help plumbers gain specialist training in gas fitting and prepare for their Victorian Building Authority (VBA) licence!
The course is delivered at The Gordon’s East Geelong and Werribee campus, and will teach you to design and size consumer gas installations. Upon successful completion of this course, you will have the knowledge and skills needed to undertake an external VBA licensing exam at a venue supplied by The Gordon.

To be eligible to apply for this course, you must meet the following entry requirements:
- Hold either a Certificate III in Plumbing (CPC32413) or a degree in engineering in order to fulfil VBA requirements and sit the VBA licensing exam. If you are unsure of your eligibility, enquire now and a study consultant from The Gordon will contact you.
Recognition of prior learning (RPL) may be available for skills and knowledge obtained through previous study or other relevant experience.
