About this unit
Delivered on campus in Werribee or East Geelong, The Gordon’s Course in Plumbing – Risk Management (CPC40912) is one of three common units required by the VBA to qualify as a licensed plumber.
This TAFE course covers how to identify and assess occupational health and safety (OHS) risks and how to undertake work-based risk control processes.
You may also be eligible for the full Certificate IV qualification upon completion of the required common and stream units.

In order to fulfil the VBA requirements and sit the licensing exam, you must hold either a Certificate III in Plumbing (trade certificate) or a degree in Engineering. If you are unsure of your eligibility, enquire now for more information.
Recognition of prior learning (RPL) may be available for skills and knowledge obtained through previous study or other relevant experience.
