About this unit
This on-campus Course in Plumbing – Water (CPC40912) from The Gordon is designed to help plumbers take their careers further and meets part of the requirements needed to apply for a licence with the Victorian Building Authority.
Delivered by The Gordon at their East Geelong and Werribee campus, the course covers two units of competency from the Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services (CPC40912), and will train you to apply building codes and standards to your contracting jobs, and teaches you to design and size heated and cold water systems.
The course is run over 20 weeks and requires you to attend on-campus classes one night a week through the duration of the program.

To be eligible to apply for this course you must meet the following entry requirements:
- In order to sit the VBA licensing exam, you must have a Certificate III in Plumbing (trade certificate) or a degree in Engineering.
Recognition of prior learning (RPL) may be available for skills and knowledge obtained through previous study or other relevant experience.
