The CHC32015 Certificate III in Community Services offered by h&h Accredited Training provides a comprehensive foundation for individuals aspiring to work in various community service roles. This course can be studied 100% online, on h&h Accredited Training’s campus in Granville, NSW, or in distance mode (home-based with once-a-week access to one-on-one trainer support either at the campus or via video-conference).

80 hours of work placement is also required.

Government funding is available to eligible NSW residents.

Please Note: This course is NOT available to people on a 500 or 600 visa.

There are no prerequisites to apply for this course however you will be required to complete a National Police Check and a Working With Children Check (WWCC).

In this CHC32015 Certificate III in Community Services course, the subjects students may study include:

  • CHCDIV001 – Work with diverse people
  • CHCCOM005 – Communicate and work in health or community services
  • HLTWHS006 – Manage personal stressors in the work environment
  • CHCCCS016 – Respond to client needs

Elective Units

  • BSBPEF502 – Develop and Support Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace
  • CHCCCS019 – Recognise and respond to crisis situations
  • CHCCOM001 – Provide first point of contact
  • CHCDIV002 – Promote Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Cultural Safety
  • CHCGRP001 – Support Group Activities
  • CHCMHS001 – Work with people with mental health issues
  • CHCPRP001 – Develop and maintain networks and collaborative partnerships

80 hours of work placement is also required.

First Aid Training
As part of your qualification, you will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of applying first aid in a variety of situations. This training consists of theory and practical components. The hands on delivery is one of the most popular parts of this course. Our staff will arrange your first aid training during your course to equip you for work placement.
