About this course
Make a career out of helping people with the Bachelor of Human Services (Disability) from Torrens University Australia.
In this course, you’ll develop a solid understanding of the historical, theoretical and philosophical theories that inform our view of disability today, and learn how social theory has influenced modern healthcare and human services policy. Building on that strong academic knowledge, this course offers a capstone research unit in your choice of specialised area, making your study relevant to both your areas of interest and the practical working environment.
You’ll build towards a career by studying the governance and economics of human services – opening up potential career paths in management and policy design, and the ability to create real change within the sector.
An option to study this course either on campus or online makes it flexible and accessible for all students, and an accelerated study option means you could graduate within two years of starting your studies.
