To be eligible to study this course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

  • Have completed a Bachelor of Nursing degree or an equivalent qualification or 3 years Diploma of Nursing leading to Registration as a nurse in home country with a minimum of one year of work experience and/or,
  • Be an AHPRA registered nurse; or be a registered nurse with the Nurses’ Board/Council from the country of origin or place of residence and/or,
  • Meet English Language Proficiency Entry Requirements.

The Graduate Certificate in Advanced Nursing is designed for registered nurses seeking to advance their practice in a specialised area. The course consists of three units:

  • One core unit: Professional Issues and Policies in Nursing
  • Two specialisation units, based on your selected area of focus

You will choose one specialisation stream, and complete both units associated with that stream.
