StudySelect (studyselect.com.au) · A Course Finder Group website

Last updated: October 26, 2026

The short version

StudySelect helps you compare accredited and non-accredited courses from Australian education providers and enquire about the ones that interest you. It’s free for students because education providers pay us when we connect them with prospective students. Course details can change, so please confirm anything important with the provider. When you enquire, we send your details to that provider, and we may contact you to help you connect with them.

1. Who we are

StudySelect is run by Career FAQs Pty Ltd (ACN 111 754 799) as trustee for The Career FAQs Unit Trust (ABN 39 299 617 067), trading as StudySelect, part of Course Finder Group. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean StudySelect. “You” means anyone using this website.

By using this website, you agree to these terms and the Course Finder Group Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the website.

2. What StudySelect is for

StudySelect is a course comparison website for students in Australia. It lists accredited and non-accredited courses from universities, TAFEs, registered training organisations and other education providers, and lets you enquire about the ones that interest you.

Our course listings and enquiry services are for domestic students, meaning Australian citizens, permanent residents and others eligible to study in Australia as domestic students. If you’re an international student, please check your options directly with providers.

We are not an education provider. We don’t deliver courses, make admissions decisions or determine funding eligibility.

4. Accredited and non-accredited courses

Accredited courses lead to a nationally recognised qualification, such as a certificate, diploma or degree, and are delivered by providers registered with a regulator such as ASQA or TEQSA. Non-accredited courses, including many short courses, can build useful skills but don’t lead to a nationally recognised qualification.

If you’re not sure whether a course is accredited, check with the provider before you enrol, or search the national register at training.gov.au.

5. Information on this website

We prepare and review our information carefully. Because much of it comes from education providers and other sources, we can’t promise it is always complete, current or accurate. In particular:

  • course fees, durations, study modes and intake dates are a guide only and may change
  • information about government funding and study loans is general, and eligibility is decided by government bodies and providers
  • career and salary information is general and may not reflect your situation.

Please confirm important details with the provider before you make a decision about study.

Our content is general information. It isn’t education, career, legal or financial advice.

6. AI-powered features

Some of our tools and content may use artificial intelligence. AI can make mistakes or give incomplete answers. Please check AI-generated information before you act on it.

7. Making an enquiry

When you send an enquiry:

  • we send your details and enquiry to the provider of that course, so they can contact you about it
  • the details we send include your name, email, phone number, location, course interest and your message
  • your enquiry isn’t an application for enrolment, and it doesn’t commit you or the provider to anything
  • any agreement you make about a course is between you and the provider. We’re not a party to it.

We only send your details to providers other than the one you chose if you agree to that.

8. Phone, messaging and web chat

When you enquire, the provider and Course Finder Group may contact you about your enquiry and related study options by phone, email, SMS, WhatsApp, Messenger or web chat. We may use these channels to confirm your course interest, help you connect with the provider and, if you’re interested, tell you about other study options.

Standard carrier charges may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to an SMS, WhatsApp or Messenger message, or by contacting us. Message delivery depends on your mobile provider and device, so we can’t guarantee every message arrives.

9. Contact from providers

The provider you enquire with may contact you about your enquiry and related study options, and may send you information about their courses.

To stop hearing from a provider, contact that provider directly, as they manage their own communications. To stop receiving messages from us, use the unsubscribe link in our emails, reply STOP to our messages, or contact us.

10. No guarantee of enrolment, funding or outcomes

An enquiry doesn’t guarantee you a place, an offer or government funding. Providers decide enrolment based on their entry requirements and available places, and government bodies decide funding eligibility. We also can’t guarantee that any course will lead to a particular job or career outcome.
