The CHC40221 Certificate IV in School Based Education Support offered by the Institute for Online Learning is designed to equip individuals with the essential skills and knowledge required to support students in educational settings. The curriculum also emphasises the importance of effective communication with students, teachers, and parents, as well as the application of strategies to support children with additional needs. To be eligible to study this course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

  • Students must have sufficient digital literacy skills to access online content, enter answers to written questions and communicate with instructors via email, the student portal and the learning management system and/or,
  • Students should have access to the internet, data, a laptop or computer with Microsoft Teams to successfully participate in this program.
