To enrol in this course, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Have at least two years’ work experience in the industry; AND
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; OR
  • Have completed a diploma or advanced diploma qualification, supported by additional relevant work experience; OR
  • Have substantial relevant work or educational experience, demonstrating a capacity to succeed.

While completing the Graduate Diploma of Sport Management qualification from the Australian College of Physical Education (ACPE), you may study the following subjects:

Core Units:

  • SBG4001 – Principles of Sport Management (taken in the first session of study)
  • SBG4002 – Managing People in Sport Organisations
  • SBG4003 – Financial Management in Sport
  • SBG4004 – Integrated Sport Marketing and Communication
  • SBG4005 – Leadership in Sport Organisations
  • SBG4006 – Sport Industry Project (taken in the final session of study)

Elective Units (two of your choice):

  • SBG4051 – Ethics and Integrity
  • SBG4052 – Athlete Well-being and Case Management
  • SBG4053 – Strategic and Operational Risk Management
