About the Course

The Youth Work Short Course offered by the Hader Institute of Education is an ideal starting point for individuals aspiring to enter the youth work sector or enhance their professional skills. This course provides foundational knowledge and practical skills essential for supporting young people in community-based settings. Over a duration of 12 weeks, participants will engage with eight units drawn from the nationally recognised CHC40421 Certificate IV in Youth Work, covering critical areas such as cultural safety, effective communication, and ethical practices in youth work.

Designed for flexibility, the course is delivered in a blended online format, allowing learners to balance their studies with personal and professional commitments.
