Certificate II in Animal Care

While there are no mandatory requirements for this course, it is recommended that students:

• Be over 16 years of age (note students under 18 will need permission from a parent or guardian to enrol);
• Have language, literacy and numeracy skills that would be required to successfully complete school year 10 or ACSF Level 2;
• Have access to a modern computer with Microsoft Office and high-speed internet;
• Have access to a digital video recording device to save and upload video/image files.

• ACMGEN310 – Provide reception services for an animal care facility
• ACMGEN205 – Source and provide information for animal care needs
