Certificate IV in School Based Education Support

To be eligible to study this course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

• Completion of at least Year 12 (Or Equivalent) OR,
• Completed a Certificate III Qualification in any field of study OR,
• Have at least 3 years of sufficient life experience (work or study), if over 21 years of age and,
• Hold or be eligible for a Working With Children Check.

In the Certificate IV in School Based Education Support course, the subjects students may study include:

• CHCEDS060 – Work effectively with students and colleagues
• CHCEDS033 – Meet legal and ethical obligations in an education support environment
• CHCEDS046 – Support student literacy learning
• CHCEDS045 – Support student mathematics learning
• CHCEDS048 – Work with students in need of additional learning support
• CHCEDS047 – Assist in facilitation of student learning
• CHCEDS051 – Facilitate learning for students with disabilities
• CHCEDS056 – Provide support to students with autism spectrum disorder
